Snow Shoeing
Conquer the snow as the pioneers did as you trek across Lake Muskoka! With plenty of room on the resort and local trails also close by, strap on a pair of shoes and enjoy a leisurely stroll or a vigorous cardio workout. Snow Shoes are provided complimentary.

Ice Skating
Get ready for a friendly game of pick up shinny! Each winter, we embrace winter and clear the snow for a perfect Ice Rink! At our Grand Muskokan Cottages, the beach and shallow waters is the perfect place for our Ice Rink. Join family and friends to either learn how to skate or bring back that good ole feeling of outdoor skating. Please bring your own ice skates and/or hockey gear.

Bonfires
Enjoy tranquility at its best with bonfire locations down at the Grand Muskokan Beach or at the Main Lodge, every Friday & Saturday night. Marshmallows and roasting sticks are provided upon request. Not here during the weekend? Just ask Front Desk/Guest Services for a mid-week bonfire any time!

OFF SITE ADVENTURES
Immerse yourself in Muskoka beauty by heading out on the local trails this weekend. The Bracebridge Resource Management Centre is located just a few minutes north of the Cedar Lane exit, on Highway 11, and contains a series of groomed cross-country ski and snowshoeing trails. These trails are free to use and are open seven days a week.
Skate on a 1.2 km loop around 12 acres of cranberries. With forest on one side and cranberry beds on the other, this is a one-of-a-kind experience.

Arrowhead Ice Skating Trail - Huntsville
Named as one of the Top 50 Canadian Winter Experiences, Arrowhead Ice Skating Trail is a breathtaking 1.3 trail that winds through the forest.
Please note that Arrowhead Provincial Park can get extremely busy during peak times (the weekend) and often reaches capacity. Plan ahead and check @ArroPark on Twitter for real-time capacity updates. Mid-week is often the best time to visit.

Dog Sled Adventures! - Huntsville
North Ridge Ranch in Huntsville provides half day tours and one hour tours most days throughout the winter season. Book early, these dog sledding trips fill up fast once the snow starts to fly!
